Why use a 6-digit family code instead of passwords?

Because families span generations. Codes are simple, memorable, and reduce “I forgot my password” friction — especially for grandparents and kids. Your email + a code gets you in fast.

Can I belong to multiple families?

Yes. You can join multiple families and switch instantly — with separate members, wishes, and calendars per family — all tied to the same email.

What does “1 active wish per person” mean on Free?

Free users can keep one current wish per person. Once that wish is fulfilled (or deleted), they can add a new one — so it cycles without becoming a huge list.

Is gift claiming visible to the recipient?

No. Claiming is designed to prevent duplicates while keeping the surprise. The recipient sees their wish list, not who claimed what.

How do invites work?

Owners/Admins can invite by email or SMS/MMS with a download link and family code. People can also request to join — then Owners/Admins approve.

Can Owners/Admins recover or reset codes?

Yes. Owners can use “Forgot Code?” for email recovery, and Owners/Admins can reset codes for any member.
